During National Storytelling Week all rooms will be focussing on reading and telling stories and we would love you to come in and read or tell your favourite children’s story. Please discuss this with your child’s room leader.
Other Activities this week
Green Rooms 1 and 2 will be sending their Bedtime Bears home Blue Rooms 1, 2 and 3 will be sending their Storytime Bears home
Please ask if you wish to take them home and take lots of lovely photos that we can share of you reading stories to your children
Professional Story Tellers
Thursday 1st February pm – We have Storyteller – Lauren Kinnersley- “Into the Wild
Wood” telling woodland stories to the children
Friday 2nd February am – We have Charlotte Blount from Book Start (Nottingham Library Services) to do an interactive story and singing session with all the Blue Rooms.
Unfortunately, neither of these two sessions are available to parents.
Pre-School only
Each room will be planning a story to act out and show to the other Blue Rooms. Wednesday 31st January pm – Trish Ochrombel will be storytelling in Blue Room 4.
Parents are welcome, but a space must be booked, each session will take between 30 – 45 mins and will involve storytelling and some singing
